Behbehani Tire Center Co. W.L.L. is the sole distributors for Pirelli Tires in Kuwait and is a Subsidiary of Mohammed Saleh and Reza Yousuf Behbehani Co. W.L.L.
Behbehani acquired Pirelli and since 1980. However, it was operating under different company names until 2003 – the year of establishment of Behbehani Tire Center.
Our operation: We provide distribution and Motorcycle Tires in Kuwait market through of chain of outlets, retailers, vehicle distributors, fleet owners etc. All our retail outlets are managed by professionally trained experts, equipped with most modern facilities.
Pirelli:
Founded in Milan in 1872 by Giovanni Battista Pirelli, the company initially specialized in rubber and derivative processes. Thereafter, Pirelli’s activities were primarily focused on the production of tires.
Pirelli is a multinational company based in Milan, Italy, listed on the Milan Stock Exchange since 1922. The company is one of the largest tire manufacturers in the world. It is present in over 160 countries, has 19 manufacturing sites in 13 countries and a network of around 12,500 distributors and retailers.
Pirelli has been sponsoring sport competitions since 1907 and is the exclusive tire supplier for the Formula One Championship for 2011–2019 and for the FIM World Superbike Championship.
Pirelli is now a pure tire manufacturing company. In the past it has also launched fashion project and operated in renewable energy and sustainable mobility.

WHAT’S NEW WITH PIRELLI’S 2019 FORMULA 1 TYRES?
Barcelona, February 18, 2019 – This year will be the ninth season of the current Pirelli era, and during each of those years the tyre range has always been different from one season to the next. So, what can we expect that’s new from the latest range of tyres – which make their debut on the 2019 cars in Barcelona this week?
THREE COLOURS, FIVE COMPOUNDS
There will be only three colours at each 2019 race: white for the hardest compound of the weekend, yellow for the medium one, and red for the softest compound. In total, there will be five compounds available for the year: they are numbered from 1 to 5, going from hardest to softest. As all five compounds are on track at the pre-season test in Barcelona, the hardest (C1) and the softest (C5) compounds won’t carry the usual stripes during the test. Compounds C2, C3 and C4 will instead carry the usual branding with stripes: coloured white, yellow and red respectively. This will only happen during tests: for grand prix weekends there will be just three compounds at each race.
